  • Determine and articulate authority as it relates to your expertise, passion, and heart...and how all three of those drive business success. 

  • Create non-negotiable clarity about ways to immediately take action and move forward.

  • Decide on quick strategies and tactics to immediately get results with the lowest effort, high impact tactics. 

  • Build and implement a 90-day roadmap that includes specific objectives and goals.

  • Have coaching and support along the way to execute on your roadmap.

What is the experience like?

 

This experience is a six hour intensive that is broken into 3 two-hour sessions: Claim your Origin Story™, Own your Present Story, and Build your Future Story sessions. From the process, you receive an Authority Lab One Pager and a roadmap. It is followed with coaching and advisory. Throughout the experience, you have a thought and accountability partner. You also have your own collaborative workspace to brainstorm and ultimately execute! All sessions are recorded and resources documented for you.

Part 1

Claim Origin
Story™


Through a qualitative and narrative process, we will discuss the reason, purpose, and stories of your work and/or business. You will discover new themes and opportunities to use your personal strengths and share your origin story in new business-enhancing ways.

Part 2

Own Present
Story


This section mixes traditional market positioning with some human twists to better assess customer, industry, and impact opportunities. You will compare reality with aspiration and make key assessments in order to build an actionable plan.

Story


Informed from the first two parts, we will get our hands dirty and come up with a high impact strategy to immediately apply in the next quarter.

Roadmap & Monthly Sessions


After the intensive, we will meet monthly and ensure that roadblocks are overcome, resources are acquired, and you hit your most important goals with your roadmap.

 Why did you create the Authority Lab™?

 
 

In my transition out of my recent leadership role and into my own entrepreneurial journey, I was helping many leaders and individuals navigate the COVID-19 landscape with their businesses and personal lives.

In order to step into any of these endeavors, I found myself  returning to the same starting point, the same question: What are the unique reasons and experiences that led this person to devote themselves to this work? There are a lot of business and marketing terms for this: purpose, dharma, market differentiation; instead of going through intensive processes, I wanted to quickly tap into what truly made them unique - and my business builder brain wanted to make sure a quick impact strategy could be born. I wanted to learn more about the person’s struggles and what really makes them tick.

After over a decade in the leadership development and corporate work space, I believe:

The person is not separate from the business. In reality, the business, or team, or project is really an extension of the person with all of its beautiful parts and also the more challenging parts. When they are named and owned, energy is funnelled into the right places to attract the right people, produce more innovation, and ultimately, create profit. 

As Brene Brown says, you can only love others to the degree that you love yourself. I think this is true for your business as well. People can only “get” or “love” or “rep” your purpose, your business, your mission, at the level that you get, love, and rep it.  

The more human you and your business are, the more successful you will be. Minouche Shafik, director at the London School of Economics says it best, “In the past, jobs were about muscles, now they’re about brains, but in the future they’ll be about the heart.” Leaders and businesses that are not paying attention to the heart are at risk for becoming extinct by other leaders and brands that do.

With all these not so neutral opinions, it is a big task for me to ensure I do this for my own business.

I created Authority Lab™ while helping others as well as working on my own story of  entrepreneurship. I began to inventory all the ways in which I consistently show up for others - what I am known for, appreciated for, even asked for. That has enabled me to better see and step into my unique authority.  

And it is this very process that I now have the privilege of offering to other founders, entrepreneurs, and leaders.
